Chinese President Hu Jintao is sure that the state visit of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to his country will bring the relations between two countries to a new high level.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Hu Jintao said this starting the negotiations between Chinese and Ukrainian official delegations that take place in Beijing now.
Chinese President on behalf of the Chinese government and Chinese people congratulated the President of Ukraine on his state visit to this country.
“You pay much attention to development of relations with China and apply efforts for development of friendship between Ukraine and China”, underlined Hu Jintao addressing to V. Yanukovych.
He highly estimated foreign policy of the President of Ukraine, in which much attention is paid to China and development of the Ukrainian – Chinese relations is a priority of the Ukrainian state.
Chinese President expressed confidence that “this visit will give impetus to the further development of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between China and Ukraine”.
