‘I want to address the President: there is still a chance to avoid the worst. We must seat at the table of negotiations and agree for the sake of future of Ukraine”, Victor Yanukovych said. He called on the President “to consider the responsibility that he will shoulder should he refuse from a constructive dialog with the legitimate authorities”.

Victor Yanukovych pointed out that the destiny of all the politicians is in the hands of the nation, and “nobody comes to power forever, including the President”.

“Victor Andriyovych [Yushchenko], make this step towards Ukraine, there is still a time”, Victor Yanukovych called on.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on 2 April Victor Yushchenko signed a decree on dissolving the parliament and appointing the regular parliamentary election.
