What is Kuchma afraid of

Former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma supports preserving of the parliamentary-presidential system of government in the state.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this to journalists in Simferopol.

“I was and remain an adherent of the parliamentary-presidential model. If somebody is short of authority -  that won`t do! What am I afraid of? What if someday an inadequate person becomes the President with unlimited authorities? We had already faced such an example. What will happen then?”, he said.
