PM proposes to adopt address to President

The government has intent to address President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko with a request to suspend the action of the decree on early election.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych claimed this opening the government’s session today.

“I propose to consider today an address to the Ukrainian President, one of the central issues of this address must be the issue of suspending the action of the President’s decree as the Constitutional Court withheld its judgment”, Victor Yanukovych said.

The Prime Minister is convinced that suspending the decree may become “the first step to calm down the society”.

Victor Yanukovych ordered the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat to prepare the draft address to the President of Ukraine.
