Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov says that he learns the Ukrainian language while working with documents in the state language and speaking with colleagues who speak Ukrainian.

M. Azarov said this in a interview to RIA Novosti, answering a question how he succeeded in improving knowledge of the Ukrainian language.

“Just imagine, every day I spend a good half of working time for reading the documents in Ukrainian. The second half of working time I listen to the Ukrainian speech at meetings and sittings. So, all day long I live in this atmosphere”, said M. Azarov.

At the same time he noted that earlier he took Ukrainian lessons, however with the lapse of time he gave up the services of teacher.
