Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced that the Tax Code will be adopted in time, and the Government will submit to the parliament the State Budget for 2011 developed on the basis of its draft, according to the Department of Information and Communications of the Secretariat of the CMU. The Head of the Government said that during talks with the representatives of International Monetary Fund on the text of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the IMF agreeing.
Mykola Azarov guarantees that the State Budget for next year will be developed in accordance with those parameters, which form part of cooperation program with the IMF, because they are realistic and are in the interest of economy of Ukraine. In particular, the Prime Minister assured the IMF that the budget deficit in 2011 will not exceed 3.5% of GDP.
In turn, the head of the IMF Mission Athanasios Arvanitis said that he was aware of plans of the Cabinet of Ministers to adopt the draft Tax Code in November. He stressed that in this case, there are all the possibilities to submit to Parliament the State budget-2011 made on the new tax base within the tight deadlines. "We know that the second reading of the draft Tax Code in the Parliament will be held on 18-19 November. In this case at the end of this month you can submit a draft State Budget" - the head of the IMF mission stressed.
