Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn believes that it is necessary to consider amendments into the Tax Code quickly if President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych signs it.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Lytvyn said this today during the press conference.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted that he also does not like everything in the Tax Code but the decision has already been made and it is necessary to move ahead in this direction. “I said to representatives of small and middle business: “I understand and support you. But lets find a compromise settlement of you interests and interests of the state”, he said.
V. Lytvyn said that now the most important issue is fulfilling of social obligations of the state and filling of the Pension Fund.
According to persuasion of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, today’s political accusations are nothing else but an attempt to please and move economic problem into political plane.
“I visited a book market after adoption of the Tax Code. Women told me: “We counted on you”, and I answered them: “I also counted on you during election but you voted for others”, said V. Lytvyn.
