The limit of compromise for the opposition is the delay of the election till July.

Our Ukraine leader Viacheslav Kyrylenko claimed this, commenting on the coalition’s proposals to hold the election in autumn.

At the same time, he noted that, for them, holding the election in July is principal. “We are talking about the first, or the eighth of July at most. But this is the subject of agreements, as there is valid the President’s decree on holding the snap poll on 24 June”. According to V.Kyrylenko, the oppositional parties are in the electoral process.

He stressed it is impossible to postpone the election till autumn, as the country must resolve the political crisis as soon as possible.

V.Kyrylenko recalled that on Friday Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych supported the respective stance of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on 4 May, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych agreed to carry out a snap poll after introducing amendments into the electoral legislation.

On 5 May, a working group began to work over the legal mechanism of holding a snap poll.

Today the group was planned to finish its work and submit its proposals to the President and the Prime Minister.
