President’s Representative in Verkhovna Rada of the fifth convocation Roman Zvarych claims Moroz’ suggestions on changes in Constitution destroy President’s authority in Ukraine, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
“These suggestions cannot be seriously interpreted, frankly speaking, it is an adventure”, Zvarych said, “Our Ukraine” press service reports.
He noted these changes are to deprive the President of the Foreign minister candidate offering. Instead the question on how the President can rule political life of the country is not solved.
Moroz also offered to lower the lawmakers’ quantity, which is necessary for the presidential impeachment, from 3/4 to 2/3.
“The author of this idea obviously does not understand, that impeachment is not a political procedure but criminal, as Verkhovna Rada cannot early discontinue President’s authority”, Zvarych is convinced. “It can be only in case the President committed a crime, that deserves such reaction from the legislative authority”.
