Yulia Tymoshenko believes investigators are deliberately prolonging her interrogation at the Prosecutor General’s Office in order to prevent her from attending the parliamentary hearings on pension reform, according to the Official website of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"We’re going into the fourth hour. The investigators have been instructed to drag things out so that I can’t attend the parliamentary hearings that are being broadcast live on TV," Yulia Tymoshenko said on Twitter.
As reported, today, Feb. 16, the Verkhovna Rada passed a decision to hold parliamentary hearings on pension reform.
The BYuT-Batkivshchyna faction is proposing an alternative to the government’s draft law on pension reform that aims to overcome disparities in pensions and includes common principles for providing pensions.
