Victor Yushchenko on Wednesday held talks with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz, Security Council Secretary Ivan Plyushch, Deputy Premier Mykola Azarov, opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko and First Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Ivan Vasyunyk, according to the President`s press-office.

The meeting took place in the Presidential Secretariat.

Opening the talks, Yushchenko welcomed yesterday’s decisions by the Verkhovna Rada and expressed hopes lawmakers would adopt all the necessary bills to defuse Ukraine’s political crisis and hold early parliamentary elections.
