The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has denied Yulia Tymoshenko’s request to make a working visit to Brussels to participate in the European People’s Party Summit on June 23, the former prime minister announced today, according to the Official website of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"Today the investigator told me that I have not been given permission to go to Brussels. In other words, three days have passed, but they didn’t give me permission," Yulia Tymoshenko said today after leaving the PGO.

Yulia Tymoshenko said she plans to submit a second request for permission to travel to Belgium. "I think in a couple days we will file a second request, we will resubmit all the documents so that they review them again within three days, and think about how much more they can spoil Ukraine’s image, how much further they can humiliate their own image as that of the government of Ukraine. And that’s why we will repeat our request to go to Brussels," she added.
