Tymoshenko: Kireyev limited my lawyer’s ability to prepare properly for trial

Batkivshchyna Party leader and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko says Judge Rodion Kireyev of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has given her new defense counsel Yuriy Sukhov absolutely not enough time to review the case file, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"It’s a day off in the trial. They gave my lawyer two days to become acquainted with the case (5,000 pages). It’s like trying to learn Chinese in 2 days," Yulia Tymoshenko wrote on Twitter, reiterating that the government though the judge is trying to speed up the trial as much as possible.

"Can I ask your advice? What should one do in this situation? Clearly the lawyer can’t read all this in two days. They’re really in a hurry," she asked her followers.
