The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not include into the agenda the draft law “On Introducing Amendments into Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine” (concerning decriminalization of responsibility of some officials). This draft law was submitted by lawmaker of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, only 154 out of 426 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision.
The Party of Regions, the CPU and the People’ s Party did not voted for the draft law. 2 lawmakers from “Reforms for the sake of future” group and 6 out factional lawmakers voted for the draft law.
This draft law stipulates to decriminalize articles that accuse ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and ex Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko.
