President Viktor Yanukovych took part in an opening of the reconstructed NSC Olympiysky in Kyiv, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
"It is a holiday for the whole of Ukraine, as the new stadium is a gift to all citizens, especially children and youth, among whom are future champions," Viktor Yanukovych said at the event.
He expressed confidence that the completion of this massive project will improve the international image of Ukraine. "Successful reconstruction of the NSC Olympiysky has become a model project for Ukraine`s image... The readiness of one of the most important stadiums for EURO 2012 has shown the world that Ukraine is a good partner," he said.
Viktor Yanukovych expressed conviction that Kyiv and the whole Ukraine will welcome European guests of EURO 2012 at the highest level.
