There is still no specific information regarding the date and time that the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv will announce its verdict in the trial of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, her lawyer has said, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

“As of now, Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyers still have not received any new information regarding the exact time and date that the Pechersk Court will announce its verdict. As you recall, the judge said that he will begin the session approximately on October 11 in the morning. This word “approximately” is a position of uncertainty as to when the verdict will be announced,” defense lawyer Mykola Siryi told journalists outside the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv today.

The lawyer believes the court’s "legal uncertainty” is unacceptable, as both the defense and society must know the exact date and time when the verdict will be announced.

“Today the situation is such that we haven’t received any new information. Secondly, Judge Kireyev told everyone approximately October 11. So, uncertainty remains for now,” said Mykola Siryi.

On September 30, Judge Rodion Kireyev denied Yulia Tymoshenko her last words and adjourned the trial until "approximately October 11."
