By the end of 2012, land market in Ukraine should start functioning, President Viktor Yanukovych said during a meeting with the administrative and economic leadership of the Khmelnytskyi region in Kamyanets-Podilskyi, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych. "We will not stop and will move only forward in this matter," Viktor Yanukovych said.
He stressed that land reform is particularly important for those regions of Ukraine, where agriculture occupies a significant place in the structure of the economy. He recalled that for the Khmelnytskyi regionthe share of agricultural sector in the economic structure is 40%.
