Some 3% of the votes in every southern Oblast of Ukraine are the minimum-plan, which the Communist Party of Ukraine defined as its goal at the upcoming snap poll in Ukraine on September 30. First deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the 5th convocation Adam Martyniuk said this in the Uzgorod press club.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he noted that Communists expect for a bigger electoral support in the Volyn, Rivne, Chernivtsi and Zakarpatska Oblasts. At the same time, A. Martyniuk said that the Ternopil Oblast is likely to become an exception.
He confirmed once more that CPU set a task to receive 10-12 % of votes on the whole at the early election. “It is real, - A. Martynuk thinks, - because the last public opinion polls indicate that CPU has increased its rating”.
At the same time, he noted that carrying out a fair election is the biggest problem now. “We do not have any opportunity to bribe the results, especially in Galychyna [the western regions] “, noted A. Martyniuk.
He pointed out that the dissolution of the parliament and the early election are illegal. “I can not speak about an election agitation of the Communist Party, because I am not ready to answer whether the election will take place. There are no grounds to speak about a legality of carrying out the electoral campaign because there were no grounds to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada”, said the first deputy Speaker.
