Socialist Party of Ukraine leader Oleksander Moroz and BYT front-runner Yulia Tymoshenko initialed an agreement on the creation of a democratic coalition, and are ready to discuss it with Our Ukraine block.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, speaking at a press conference in Kyiv on occasion of initialing the agreement, O.Moroz noted that the working group worked out the agreement on creating the democratic coalition, which includes 4 provisions: the bases of the internal and foreign policy, the program of government activities, the regulations of the coalition activities, and the distribution of responsibility spheres between political forces.

He stressed that the document was signed at every page by members of the working group for developing the agreement – Iosif Vinskiy and Oleksander Turchynov. As of today, the agreement has been completely agreed by the two political forces.

O.Moroz expressed a hope that Our Ukraine will also sign this agreement. “Should there be any discrepancies – we are ready to discuss”, he noted.

In her turn, Yulia Tymoshenko recalled that the work over the document lasted for almost two months.

She stressed that BYT and SPU are ready to discuss everything with Our Ukraine. At the same time, she pointed out that BYT insists that the coalition is possible only between SPU, BYT, and Our Ukraine, and ruled out any opportunity of talks with the Party of Regions.
