Yulia Tymoshenko’s health has worsened

Yulia Tymoshenko’s health has deteriorated sharply, says her defender Serhiy Vlasenko, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The head of the prison told me that Yulia Tymoshenko can’t come out to meet me because of intense back pain. As a result, I will not be able to meet with her today or the next couple of days," Serhiy Vlasenko said.

He also said that the prison administration denied his request to meet with the ex-premier in her jail cell.

Since her arrest on August 5, Yulia Tymoshenko has been denied proper medical care despite numerous requests to allow an examination by her personal doctor.
