European People’s Party (EPP) President Wilfried Martens has sent Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko an invitation to the meeting of the EPP Heads of State and Prime Ministers to be held during the XXth EPP Congress in Marseilles on December 8, 2011, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"I am admiring your strength and look forward to seeing you at the Congress," Wilfried Martens wrote.
The EPP is the largest and most influential European-level political party of the centre-right, which currently includes 74 member-parties from 39 countries, the Presidents of the Commission, Council, and Parliament, 17 EU and 6 non-EU heads of state and government, 13 members of the European Commission and the largest Group in the European Parliament.
