BYuT has worked out a program of Ukraine’s strategic development, which comprises 12 provisions. BYuT front-runner Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she noted that the program will be called “Ukrainian Breakthrough: Towards Fair and Competitive Country”.

She specified that the first provision will deal with a constitutional breakthrough, which will mean that Ukrainians will write their Constitution themselves.

The second provision deals with a judicial and legal breakthrough.

The third is an informational breakthrough, which will stipulate creating a public television and radio broadcasting, along with protecting the national informational space.

The fourth is an anti-corruption breakthrough, towards reducing the state role in the economics.

The fifth is a demographic breakthrough, stipulating the introduction of a compulsory medical insurance, etc.

The sixth is an intellectual breakthrough; the seventh is a transit breakthrough. The business breakthrough, which is the eighth provision, envisions adopting the Tax Code and wiping out the value added tax.

The ninth provision is an energy efficient breakthrough, stipulating the reduction of the critical dependence on the monopoly import of energy carriers.

The tenth provision is an investment breakthrough; the eleventh deals with building, and the twelfth – with agriculture.

“Our aim, our task, is to set high, probably, romantic, goals, and to propose pragmatic and maximally simple ways of their achieving”, the BYuT leader said.
