Our Ukraine party council adopted the draft coalition agreement and confirmed its intention to hold talks with the Block of Yulia Tymoshenko and the Socialist Party of Ukraine.
“We adopted as a basis a draft coalition agreement and have finally determined with who we will hold talks – with those, with who we were holding coalition talks all the time before it”, Our Ukraine political council chief Roman Bessmertny said to Ukrayinska Pravda.
According to one of the participants of the Our Ukraine political council session, the candidacy of the Prime Minister will be determined with a separate protocol within the frameworks of agreements between the three political forces. To distribute the positions of Ministers, they propose a system of balls, in lien with which the Prime Minister’s job is assessed at 7 balls, top DPM – at 5 balls, Ministers – 3.
“In this case BYT receives 10 Ministers portfolios, Our Ukraine – 7, and the Socialist Party – 2 or 3”, said the member of the Our Ukraine political council. According to him, coalition members will not have a right to veto the candidacies from other political forces.
