Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal to be heard by panel of three judges

lawyer also said that...

Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer Mykola Tytarenko says the administration of the Kyiv Court of Appeals has not informed them of names of the judges that will be hearing the ex-premier’s appeal of her October 11 conviction in the so-called “gas case”, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

“We weren’t informed of the composition of the panel. We know only the name of the judge-rapporteur. It is Olena Sitaylo, if she has not been replaced,” said Mykola Tytarenko.

The lawyer also said that at the start of today’s hearing the lawyers will demand that the court consider their requests to change the measure of restraint for Yulia Tymoshenko and to allow judges removed from the case by the court of first instance to participate in the appeals process.
