Necessity of cancellation deputy’s benefits is populism - Bondarenko

The statement of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko concerning the necessity of the cancellation of deputy’s benefits is populism.

Director of Kyiv Institute named after Gorshenin Konstantyn Bondarenko expressed this opinion in the comment to UNIAN, giving comments to yesterday’s V. Yushchenko’s appeal to Ukrainian people

The expert noted that this statement of the Head of State “can be considered as populist, which nobody obliges to nothing and nothing adds and takes away from the President”.

K. Bondarenko thinks that the President decided to listen to voice of political technologists, who assured V. Yushchenko that the issue of the deputy immunity is a vital issue and worries citizens of Ukraine greatly.
