Appeals court upholds Kireyev’s verdict

The judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeals have left in effect the sentence handed down by the Pechersk District Court on October 11, 2011, against former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in the so-called “gas case”, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

“The verdict of the Pechersk District Court remains unchanged. The full text will be announced on December 29 at 4 pm,” Judge Olena Sitaylo announced.

Representatives of the defense were not in the courtroom when the decision was read.
