Moroz thinks VR of 5th convocation can solve issue on canceling deputy immunity
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the 5th convocation Oleksandr Moroz thinks it is not necessary to carry out election for canceling the deputy immunity because the parliament of the 5th can solve this issue.
He said this in interview to journalists, giving comments to initiative of Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych concerning canceling the deputy immunity.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, in accordance to the words of O. Moroz, the initiative of V. Yanukovych is “legitimate and not new”.
According to his words, “they sowed all Ukraine with billboards with appeals on canceling the deputy immunity, but this is not main task and not the task of strategic meaning.”
According to O. Moroz, it is possible to carry out the session of the parliament, where this issue can be solved. At the same time he noted that the opponents of coalition understand this and that is why they have “unhealthy reaction”.
O. Moroz thinks that it is provocation, “the name of which the attempt of constitutional coup”. “Unfortunately, at the head of this coup is the President”, noted O. Moroz.
