Jerzy Buzek: Ukrainian authorities should release Yulia Tymoshenko

European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek says the release of Yulia Tymoshenko from prison and completion of talks on an association agreement between Ukraine and the EU are a prerequisite for further EU-Ukraine relations, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"Madame PM Tymoshenko should be released. We must finish our negotiations on the Association Agreement. Both are necessary to brings us as much as possible together EU-Ukraine, to build a true democratic system in your country!" Jerzy Buzek wrote on Facebook, in response to a question during an online chat regarding the Yulia Tymoshenko case and prospects for her participation in the 2012 parliamentary elections.
