If the Presidential election take place on the nearest Sunday some 27% of Ukrainians would vote for present Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych. These are data of the express-poll, which was carried out by “FOM-Ukraine” Ltd.
According to the data, some 16.6% of those polled are ready to vote for present President Victor Yushchenko, some 14.7% - for BYUT leader Yulia Tymoshenko, some 3.2% of those polled would vote for CPU leader Petro Symonenko, some 2.6% - for People’s Party leader Volodymyr Lytvyn.
Moreover, some 2.2% of those polled on the presidential election would vote for OU-PSD Bloc leader Yuriy Lutsenko, some 1.2% - for Foreign Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, some 1% - for Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the 5th convocation Oleksandr Moroz.
Some 0.9% of those polled are ready to vote for well-known boxer Vitaliy Klitschko, some 0.5% - for the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, some 0.5% - for Economy Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh, some 0.3% - for Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi.
Some 0.1% of those polled would support on the Presidential election former Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, Chief of Staff of the President Victor Baloha, former Security Chief of NSDCU Petro Poroshenko and former Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk.
The poll was carried during 9-19 August by the method of interview by the residence place of respondents. The error margin makes up some 2.2%.
