President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will present today the nation-wide project “Ukrainian Flag to every family”.
According to the press service of the President, the Head of State will declare about start of the action during the ceremony of presenting state awards on the occasion of Independence Day in the Secretariat of the President.
According to the press-service, the position of the Head of State means that a flag as a national symbol unites all Ukrainian society.
“Ukrainian Flag to every family” action is scheduled for three years. It is divided for four stages.
The first stage – providing with flags village, settlement councils and village schools.
The second stage - providing with flags regions schools and residents of regional centers.
The third stage - providing with flags state institutions, educational institutions of cities and regional centers.
The fourth stage- providing with flags every family.
