Kyiv official prepare evacuation and are concerned about dam failure

Kyiv Mayor`s office is concerned about dam failure due to snow melting.

“Segodnya” newspaper № 29 from February 8 reports this.

Chief of Emergency Department under Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Pshenychnyi  said “Segodnya”: “Kyiv hydropower station failure is the most terrible thing that can happen due to snow melting”.

According to his words, a special commission has already been formed and it will test the durability of the dam on Monday.
