The administration of the Kachanivska penal colony has illegally restricted Yulia Tymoshenko’s ability to meet with her lawyers and daughter, Serhiy Vlasenko has said, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Unfortunately, Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyers weren’t allowed to see her yesterday or today," lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko told the press today in Kyiv. "This is a direct violation of the law. Eugenia Tymoshenko also wasn’t allowed to visit Yulia today. We don’t understand why the defense team and family have been denied the opportunity to speak with Yulia Tymoshenko."
Yesterday, February 14, Serhiy Vlasenko and Eugenia Tymoshenko were not allowed to meet with Yulia Tymoshenko. Her defense team believes this was deliberately done by the prison administration to prevent them from speaking with the ex-premier prior to her meeting with foreign doctors.
