Canadian physicians were unable all day to examine Yulia Tymoshenko because of demands by officials of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine that they be given the results of the examination, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
“Officials from the Ministry of Health have been creating obstacles since morning. For nearly six hours the Canadian doctors couldn’t begin their examination because of the officials of the Ministry of Health, who insisted that they be told the results of the examination,” said Serhiy Vlasenko.
According to unofficial sources, only at 6 pm were the Canadian doctors able to begin their work. “This is the same tactic the officials, who are dependent on the presidential administration, tried to use on the doctors from Germany,” he said.
“Information about a person’s health is confidential and doctors in civilized countries uphold these principles. If Yulia Tymoshenko tells someone the results of the examination, it will be her daughter, Eugenia, and her lawyers,” he said.
