Borussia Dortmund General Manager Hans-Joachim Watzke is considering boycotting the Euro-2012 football championship games in Ukraine because of the Ukrainian government’s persecution of Yulia Tymoshenko, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"Of course I would like to see the games, but I’m not sure I will. I still haven’t decided. I am outraged that Tymoshenko is behind bars. I wish more people would stand up in her defense, support those who need it, and create a protest movement. Something like this in the center of Europe? It’s unacceptable. I need to think it through," Sport.Bild.de quoted Watzke as saying.

The manager of the German football team did say he will visit the games in Poland. "I will definitely attend the matches in Poland, such as the ones in which our three Polish players will play," he stressed.
