Victor Yushchenko accentuated there is no legal basis for holding regular or special session of the Parliament on September 4th. He stressed upon this in his interview in Chernigiv, according to the President`s press-office.
President thinks an idea to convoke the Parliament is simply an attempt to attract additional attention to the "political outsiders and their prospects."
Victor Yushchenko said he would not mind members of parliament gathering to "exhcange memories." However, he insists such a meeting will have no legal consequences for the country.
President also appreciated that certain political forces supported his initiatives including the repeal of immunity. Yet, he demands to wait 30-40 more days to get a legitimate possibility to fulfil this promise.
