Summit of EPP to discuss imprisonment of Tymoshenko and Lutsenko

The Summit of the European People’s Party that takes place today will discuss imprisonment of leaders of the Ukrainian opposition Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuri Lutsenko.

One of the participants of the summit, who wanted to remain unknown, disclosed this to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels.

“Concerning Ukraine there will be only issue of Tymoshenko and Lutsenko today, because it is one package”, - said an interlocutor of the agency.

He did not rule out that the Summit will adopt a special resolution concerning this case.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, in the premises, where the Summit is taking place, on the walls there are posters with an image of Yulia Tymoshenko with an inscription “Freedom to Yulia!” at the background of bars.
