Only three political forces – the Party of Regions, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and the Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence Bloc – would enter the parliament if the election took place this Sunday.

According to the results of the poll, some 27.2% of those polled are ready to vote for the Party of Regions, some 26.8% - for the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, and some10.9% of those polled – for the Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence Bloc.

On the verge of overcoming the 3 per cent barrier, there are the Communist Party of Ukraine, according to the results, some 2.9% of those polled are ready to vote for this party.

Among those political forces, who would not overcome the three per cent barrier appeared the following parties: some 2.3% of those polled are ready to vote for KUCHMA Bloc, some 2.2% - for the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, some 1.3% of those polled are ready to vote for the Lytvyn’s Bloc and the Socialist Party of Ukraine.

At the same time some 3.7% of those polled are ready to vote for other political forces, some 3.8% of respondent are going to vote against all, some 8.2% of those polled did not decide yet and some 9.4% of respondents are not going to vote at all.

R. Tkach also noted that compared with the previous poll, there is a considerable dynamics of the ratings of parties. “At the previous statistic sample, if to add the rating of the Party of Regions and the Communist party, it would be equal to the rating of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence Bloc”. Now you see the considerable differences. That is why I say that the dynamics are present”, he noted.

According to the opinion of R. Tkach, the reduction of the SPU’s rating is logical, taking into a consideration the pre-election advertising. “I think that an advertising, directed against the election, it works for this”, said R. Tkach.

He thinks that even the CPU’s rating reduced, according to the results of poll. But this party will enter the parliament.

The growth of KUCHMA Bloc’s rating, according to R. Tkach, is not connected with the rating of the very bloc, but it is connected with rating of ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma as a personality.

“An even we know that KUCHMA said that he has nothing to do with this Bloc, I will say to you that people in villages and in remote parts do not pay attention to news”, said R. Tkach.

He also noted that the BYUT ’ s rating improved if to compare data of the today’s and the previous polls. According to the opinion of R. Tkach if it grows the Bloc will outstrip the Party of Regions.

The sociological poll was carried out from 22 to 26 of August 2007 in all the regions of Ukraine. In a whole 2100 respondents were polled, the sample makes up the adult population of Ukraine at the age over 18 years. An error margin makes up some 2%.
