Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated: “Regular operation of power is required by the Constitution. The Parliament operates till the new convocation as it requires the Constitution and nobody can break the Constitution,” the Head of Government emphasized, according to the government’s press-service. Viktor Yanukovych disclosed in Alchevsk of the Luhansk region during his working trip.

At the same time Viktor Yanukovych stressed that regularity of the Verkhovna Rada’s operation does not constitute a threat to pre-term elections. “We do not task to destabilize the election campaign. We want the situation be stable. Operation of the Verkhovna Rada is not a menace to stability of the country,” the PM said.

Viktor Yanukovych focused attention on the fact that earlier the President had signed a series of decrees resulting in “destabilization of the power’s work”. We want to live in a constitutional state with political stability, predictability of the home and foreign policy,” Viktor Yanukovych said.

“Appointment is contrary to the laws and Constitution, unfortunately, the Head of State sets this example,” V. Yanukovych said in an interview to journalists in Alchevsk.
