New show trial to begin on April 28

Judge Kostyantyn Sadovsky of the Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv has ignored the motion by Yulia Tymoshenko’s defense and scheduled the beginning of the trail in the case involving United Energy Systems of Ukraine for April 28, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

In doing so, the new Kireyev refused to close a case that was already closed by a decision made by 48 judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

Yulia Tymoshenko’s defense team made a motion to close the case or at least postpone the trial until Yulia Tymoshenko fully recovers.
