The High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases has postponed until July 12 the consideration of Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal of her sentence in the case involving gas deal with Russia, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The court took note that in order to hear the complaint evidence must be obtained. The panel of judges have ruled to postpone the case until July 12," announced Judge Stanislav Mishchenko.

Lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko called the judge’s decision an attempt by the authorities to create additional obstacles for Yulia Tymoshenko’s complaint with the European Court of Human Rights. "The appeal has been delayed again on fabricated grounds. We understand that this court’s decision will not be independent. Moreover, the court already know the decision it will make," he said.
