Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence Bloc leader Yuri Lutsenko thinks that the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko has to express its own stance concerning Ukraine`s entrance into NATO.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yu. Lutsenko said this yesterday in Ivano-Frankovsk at Vichevoj Maydan, delivering a speech to his electors after a regional television space bridge “Tasks for Future Government”.
Yu. Lutsenko recalled that the OU-PSD Bloc and the BYUT agreed to cooperate.
According to his words, Ukraine needs to become member of the European Union. But, at first it should enter the North Atlantic Alliance.
“Our way to Europe is through NATO. There is no other way. These are doors for our neighbours, who came through it - Poland, and the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, and Rumania and Bulgaria, all those, who were yesterday in the Soviet camp, went through NATO and reached a better level of life”, underlined Yu. Lutsenko.
