The findings of the forensic medical examination of Yulia Tymoshenko’s health ordered by the court have been added to the materials of the case involving the activities of United Energy Systems of Ukraine in 1997-1998, lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko has said, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The case materials now include the conclusions of the so-called Kharkiv experts who wrote that everything is ok and Tymoshenko can be present at court sessions," said Serhiy Vlasenko.

However, he said that the Kharkiv experts were afraid to explicitly write that Yulia Tymoshenko can participate in court. "The court asked them whether Yulia Tymoshenko, based on her health, can be present in court. They responded: having analyzed the medical documents, we conclude that Yulia Tymoshenko can be present at events outside the hospital, at events that require the comprehension of verbal and written information. They were too afraid to even say she can be in court," he explained.

The lawyer pointed out that the experts did not actually examine Yulia Tymoshenko and based their opinions on their alleged review of medical documentation.

"A person hasn’t finished treatment, is in the hospital, and everyone confirms that she is sick. Then information appears about her transfer back to prison because the treatment is allegedly over. Although all the doctors have officially confirmed that treatment has not been completed, they’re considering the possibility of moving her back to prison because starting on Monday they need to drag her to court," said Serhiy Vlasenko.

On July 19, Serhiy Vlasenko informed the media that Yulia Tymoshenko’s health has worsened due to an unidentified skin problem that forced her to stop treatment for her back.
