As of 16.00 by Moscow time, only 1.5% of Ukrainian citizens, living in Russia, voted at the early parliamentary election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, according to RIA Novosti.

According to Denis Denisov, chief of the electoral commission of the 77th polling stations, situated in the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow, 584 people out of 32 thousand Ukrainian citizens, registered in Moscow, voted by 16.00.

D.Denisov explained the low turnout of electors with the fact that people, living in 35 regions and subjects of RF, were registered at the polling station in Moscow.

According to him, the turnout is very similar to that at the parliamentary election in 2006.
