Our Ukraine proposes Vyacheslav Kyrylenko for VR Speaker

The Our Ukraine states its intention to follow steadily the Agreement signed between the OU and the BYuT in February 2007, according to the Our Ukraine’s web site. The party’s presidium considers it necessary to sign an agreement on forming the coalition of democratic forces by the OU – PSD and the BYuT on the first working day of the new parliament.

The OU presidium addressed the OU – PSD political council with a proposal to consider candidacy of Vyacheslav Kyrylenko for the post of the VR speaker.

According to the preliminary data of the Central Election Committee, the OU – PSD Bloc and the BYuT received majority of votes in the new Verkhovna Rada. That will allow to form a democratic coalition.
