Lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko has predicted that the High Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases will deliver its verdict in Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal of her conviction in the gas case no earlier than September 10-13, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"I am convinced that the ruling will be announced two days after the scheduled date of the hearing in the Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv. This will be after the hearing of the case in the European Court of Human Rights on August 28, but I predict somewhere around September 10-13, depending on which days are work days. Taking into consideration the fact that the cases are considered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, this will be on a Tuesday or Thursday in early September. They’ll drag it out," said Serhiy Vlasenko.

The lawyer noted that prior to delivering its verdict, the court must inform all parties of the date of the announcement. "This means that every participant of the process must get a letter from the court saying when the ruling will be announced. This will add at least three days for post. At the least they need to inform the defense lawyers, prosecutors and Yulia Tymoshenko," he added.
