Yushchenko ordered Yekhanurov to begin talks for creating parliamentary coalition

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has ordered Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov to begin talks with political forces for creating a parliamentary coalition.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, top deputy President’s chief of staff Ivan Vasiunyk claimed this at a press conference in the Presidential Secretariat today.

He disclosed that Victor Yushchenko gave this instruction to Yuri Yekhanurov this morning.

Asked why this instruction was given to Yuri Yekhanurov, and not to Our Ukraine HQ chief Roman Bessmertny, I.Vasiunyk said: “Why Yekhanurov? This was the choice of the Ukrainian President”.
