Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has asked the administration of the Kachanivska prison to return the dosimeters that were illegally taken from her during a search of her hospital room, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Yulia Tymoshenko in my presence wrote a statement in which she explained the situation. She is requesting permission for her lawyers to give her dosimeters to monitor radiation and potentially save her life," said lawyer Oleksandr Plakhotnyuk.
Tymoshenko’s hospital room was illegally searched today while her lawyer was at lunch. Dosimeters that she had since she was arrested and held at the Lukyanivka pre-trial detention center in Kyiv were taken.
