President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych hopes for impartiality of international observers during the parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this in interview to Ukrainian journalists in New York.
“Today we feel that long before election biased assessments have already appeared. I never had a habit to silence somebody. It is a personal affair of every politician, his personal attitude to any political events”, - said V. Yanukovych.
He is sure that there will be few observers who will give biased assessments, the majority of observers will give impartial assessments: “I am sure that there will not be many observers, who will have biased attitude, the rest of them will see and give impartial assessment”, - said V. Yanukovych.
According to his words, there are some little violations from the side of all political forces. “It is an ordinary situation on the eve of elections”, - said the President. At the same time he hopes that the law on elections will be implemented.
