Ukraine's State Customs Service said Thursday that two-way trade between Ukraine and the European Union (EU) is expected to reach 30 billion U.S. dollars by the end of this year, according to Xinhua.

"The trade turnover between Ukraine and the EU is growing constantly," said Igor Kaletnik, head of Customs Service, while meeting with his counterparts from the EU and the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Kaletnik also said the bilateral trade volume in the first four months of this year has already reached 13 billion dollars, adding the establishment of a free trade area between the two sides would further facilitate their trade links.
