The Batkivshchyna United opposition does not rule out blocking of work of the new Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Lawmaker from the BYUT-Batkivshchyna Serhiy Sobolev said this in an interview to “Day” newspaper (№ 207, from November 14) commenting on intention of opposition to use both parliamentary and out parliamentary methods of struggle against authorities.
“It means that different methods will be used directly in the parliament and beyond it. In the parliament we can use such drastic measure as blocking of work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Without any hesitation we will use this method of work…”, - he said.
In particular, according to the words of S. Sobolev, the opposition will use this method if authorities increase pension age for men, allow voting of lawmakers by assumed cards and in other cases.
